Data showcase webinar

Data showcase webinar
Join leading voices in ALS and key data partners as we showcase the datasets and tools available to Prize entrants. Discover how our comprehensive data will support AI-driven approaches in identifying new treatment targets.

We hosted a 90-minute online session showcasing the datasets powering the Longitude Prize on ALS, a global challenge prize to accelerate treatment discovery for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) using the power of AI.

Our data partners, including Project MinE, Answer ALS/ALS Therapy Development Institute, and ALS Compute, presented the unique genomic, multi-omic, and clinical datasets available to Prize participants. Attendees gained insights into how these datasets were generated, what makes them valuable, and how they can support AI-driven therapeutic discovery.

The session also offered practical guidance on accessing the data, and understanding eligibility and data use agreements.

If you missed the live event, you can catch up by watching the recordings below:

Important clarification: The data access instructions shared in this session describe how anyone can request access to selected datasets during the application stage. The 20 teams selected for Stage 1 will receive access to the complete dataset via a centralised platform (DNAnexus). Clear instructions will be provided directly to successful teams once accepted. An overview of the required steps is available here.
